“Mindful Support for Children and Families provides compassionate, psychology-informed guidance and play-based strategies that nurture emotional wellbeing, strengthen relationships, and empower families to thrive together.”

Two young children, a boy and a girl, playing in a muddy field with puddles. The boy is holding a stick and wearing rain boots, while the girl is looking down, also wearing rain boots. They appear to be exploring and enjoying outdoor nature.

If you’re feeling unsure about how to support your child’s big emotions, challenging behaviours, or developmental needs, you’re not alone. Many families face these same concerns, and reaching out is the first step toward change.

At Mindful Beginnings, I help families navigate challenges using evidence-based strategies and everyday tools, informed by over 30 years of experience in early childhood education. As a qualified kindergarten teacher and soon-to-be Master of Psychology graduate, I bring both practical classroom expertise and clinical knowledge to help families navigate challenges with confidence.

My approach combines evidence-based strategies with play-based, practical tools that fit into everyday life, helping children and parents feel more calm, capable, and connected.

Whether your child needs support with emotional regulation, social skills, or school readiness, or you want guidance through the ups and downs of parenting, I’m here to help with compassion, clarity, and care.

Together, we can give your child the best possible start, while strengthening the wellbeing of your whole family.

Let’s give your child the best start, and bring more calm and confidence into your home.
